Just a quick note about my experience with Orbitz. I booked a flight/hotel combo, and then had to cancel it that same day and paid approx $25 cancellation fee. A few days later I re-booked the same flight/hotel, but then had to cancel a day later. I spent over an hour on the phone with an Orbitz representative waiting for their computer system to cancel the flight and hotel, and was told it was all cancelled and things were fine. So I thought.

Then, a MONTH later, I get a call saying my airfare wasn’t 100% refundable, and there is a $200 per person fee. Now this is after the trip, so I can’t just go on the flight. Very unprofessional, it doesn’t take a month to let me know there are extra fees. If I had known there was going to be a fee I would have found a way and gone on the trip! They still refuse to refund the money.

I won’t be using ever again.
